Miffy Coin Bank

Miffy has been around for over 60 years, she made her first appearance in 1955. The lovable adorable Dutch character was created by the world-renowned artist Dick Bruna. The kind little bunny made has made herself a global presence across 200 published books around the world that have been translated in over 50 languages.

DICK BRUNA: Born in the Netherlands city of Utrecht, Dick Bruna‘s father was a publisher at the family-owned company A.W. Bruna & Zoon, founded by his grandfather. Despite his father’s efforts to convince Dick Bruna to become a publisher, in 1951 he joined A.W. Bruna & Zoon as a designer for the company after his enrollment at the Rijksakademie for fine arts in Amsterdam.
